Volunteer Opportunities

Currently Seeking:

  • Our most needed position is a front desk receptionist. We are looking for someone who:

    • Is comfortable being a constant presence at the front desk to greet clients with a smile

    • Can be trained to answer & log phone calls, take messages & transfer calls to appropriate staff

    • Is comfortable working with technology

    • Is willing to assist with light office projects such as folding brochures, assembling files etc.

    • Is able to attend quarterly volunteer in-service trainings

  • Everything in Hope’s Baby Boutique is donated! We are looking for someone who:

    • Will work directly with Hope’s Baby Boutique Manager to schedule time to come in when larger donations are received

    • Has a flexible schedule

    • Enjoys organizing

  • We need a team of people or individuals willing to clean the Center! We are looking for someone who:

    • Is able to come either before 10AM or after 5PM preferably during weekdays

    • Is comfortable cleaning two bathrooms, the kitchen, emptying trash cans, dusting baseboards, vacuuming, sweeping & mopping of floors & disinfecting phones, doors, door handles & light switches (All cleaning supplies are provided by Hope)

    • Commits to 1 year, coming in at least once a month

  • Hope sends out approximately 5 large mailings every year. Each mailing needs to be processed by a deadline. We are looking for individuals who:

    • Are detail oriented

    • Don’t mind repetitive tasks

    • Are comfortable placing postage, stuffing envelopes, placing tabs, folding inserts etc.

How do I sign up to volunteer?

Come to Hope to pick up the volunteer application packet! After you return it, we will set up an informal interview & upon approval, coordinate trainings & your start date.

What is an Active Volunteer?

  • Anyone who volunteers in the Center must agree with our beliefs & pass a formal background check

  • Like staff & board members, all volunteers are required to sign agreements with HPC organizational statements annually.

An Active Volunteer is someone who meets the time commitment request for their volunteer position & consistently engages with their supervisor. Active volunteers are invited to attend occasional thank you events & special activities.
